Borderlands Books / This illustration depicting Joan of Arc (Jeanne d’Arc for those that speak French) started as a portfolio piece. It was later selected to be the fourth in a series of artist’s bookmarks used as promotional items for the San Francisco bookstore. These are all gone, but if you live in or are visiting the San Francisco area, don’t let that stop you from dropping by the store at 866 Valencia Street.
